This was definitely a day of new experiences, new adventures, lots of anticipation, and lots of family (chosen and related)! Kristin and Tj are two sides of the same coin - they both love a good ski adventure up a mountain and they love to party with their friends. The only thing that would make it better would be to have their wedding on top of a mountain, OF WHICH THEY DID. Kristin was a little anxious and ready to see TJ in his full attire and TJ was nervous as all heck - lets just add that they’ll go up to the top to do their first look and some photos and the wait time in between everything. THE ANTICIPATION WAS KILLING ME.
Spoiler alert, I’m afraid of heights. Now I’ve been snowboarding before so its not that big a deal, but the difference between some snow below and hard ground is just a wee bit different you might say - so my mind and my heart was racing the entire ride - AND I HAD TO DO IT 4 TIMES. So lets just say, I saved some BTS footage on my instagram stories just for the occasion that I fell to my early doom. BUT THE VIEW was amazing, absolutely gorgeous.
First look was nothing short of steller, TJ’s smile was so big and you could see his shoulders drop and relax as soon as he saw Beautiful Kristin in her beautiful dress, all perfect. We did some Party Photos and then we had to skip the portraits until after ceremony (NBD since light would be amazing right after ceremony). So Down we went, then UP we went for Ceremony! They did a hand fasting ceremony which is one of my favorite traditions - binding two loves as one. After ceremony and some GORGEOUS PORTRAITS of them, we went back down (for the last time) and the VIEW with them on the seat looking down at the Resort of where they were having their reception - PERFECTION. The rest of the evening was nothing short of fun, shenanigans and some tender moments.
