Into the Woods Farm + Goat Yoga Engagement | Kat & Chris | Jay Zhang Photography
I love adventures when doing engagement sessions, and this one in particular was a super fun day, with GOATS! We got together at Into the woods Farm for a nice team activity of Couple’s Yoga, + Goats - A Couple’s Goat Yoga! Kat is a healer of the body and mind, Chris is an everyday public super hero and they both powerlift and train together. Their synergy together is amazing, a Man who doesn’t take himself too seriously and a woman who cares and nurtures deeply, both are always looking for fun silly laughs together. THIS DAY was a day for a TON of laughing, and lots of intimate moments.
We Started with some Goat Yoga in the main part of the property, these goats were definetly food motivated- If you had food, they will come! Chris set up the mats and Kat picked out a couple of couple’s poses while I got to feed the goats and pet them ( hehe ). Behind the scenes, we ahd our gracious host lift the goats up on their backs for some poses and I captured (in awe) the moments where they stayed, and the moments where they said “NO THANK YOU” and leapt right off!
We moved to an adjacent part of the property to an open field to have some fun wtih the goats, whose only focus it seems was to get some more food! They majestically surrounded Kat and Chris and the light was amazing, I almost couldn’t believe how amazing everything looked. Then I see a ton of Goat butts swarming and surrounding Kat and Chris and almost pushing Chris over (LOL) In between these fun moments, there were moments where they tended to each other, snuggling in, admiring and being grateful of life, and maybe planning to have a goat farm of their own some day (For reals though, they’ve told me this!) Overall, these goats were pretty happy to be around people, hanging out with us and getting some extra food into their day, and we were happy to have majestic photos with goats!
The end of the day brought on more low key vibes, snuggling and embracing closely, kissing softly, and allowing the light to wrap itself around their bodies as the sun slowly dipped below the horizon.
