Sarah and Tom have been anxiously and excitedly WAITING for this day. I’ve been in constant contact with them the entire time, planning and helping them map out what their day would look like with me and coordinating with other events of the day. Luckily we had the Amazing Alexis who is the Maid of honor and a previous Jay Zhang Photography Bride in the KNOW of how a wedding day goes and she was on top of EVERYTHING. It always helps when your best friend is also experienced, aint that right Alexis?!
When I got there, I could tell there was some nervous energy, and they were grateful I was early (mostly because i’m always anxious i’ll be late, so I show up early!). With that in mind, I started early just so we can get the ball rolling and ease some anxious energy!
I always start with Details and Sarah was looking amazing, and all her details were so shiny and pretty and I was excited to have her put on her dress - but before we did that, we just HAD to give her a moment with the dress to just admire it in its glory! Her mom helpped her with her dress and both her mom and her new Mom-in-Law helped prep her attire. You could tell everyone was excited to be a big part of Sarah’s Day!
As with most guys, Tom was excited to see Sarah, he was having some shenanigans with his boys while he was getting ready and then we shuffled him along to get him ready for First Look!! My favorite Moment of the day!
You could tell Sarah was Excited to see Tom, and Tom was being Mr. Cool Cat - but when Tom turned around his face GLOWED and Sarah was excitedly smiling and my heart just MELTED. Today was happening, and its finally going to be an amazing day.
