Kat and Kevin were WAITING for this day forever! When I got to the room to see Kat, she was glowing, she was super excited and a little bit nervous but the loved ones in her life were more than happy to surround her and remind her that things were going to be great and that today, was going to be AMAZING (spoilers, it was!). She got into her dress that she said felt amazing, and her cute mom couldn’t help but squeeze her cheeks right after! We even did a small first look with her wedding party and the tears had already started. Afterwards I went over to the boys and you could tell shenanigans afoot, but these boys pulled together and we got ready, you could tell there were people who had already been in weddings helping the other boys with Ties and even BOUTINEERS (Usually me or my 2nd photographer is doing this!) NOW we were ready to do a first look!

They wanted to do a Back to Back first look, typically couples who want to do this are those who both want to be able to see each other for the first time at the SAME TIME and its always AMAZING when people decide they want to do this! The set up is important because they have to cover their eyes until they are in place, and be back to back and then TURN at the same time. The anticipation is almost as thrilling as they both are waiting to see each other, even though they can feel and hear each other. When they finally both turned and saw each other, they were just in AWE. They were so excited to see each other, and now they were ready to do a tour of the area with Photos leading up to the New York State Museum for their ceremony.

They had a sweet ceremony right on the top of the Museum edge overlooking the Historic Gothic Style Church across the street and we did a HUGE group photo right after on the steps in front. The party, was ready to happen, and you can tell that everyone had fun. I’m currently writing this blog in January of 2021, remembering that times before Covid-19 were amazingly filled with people who wants to PARTY and DANCE and SHENANIGANS. I miss it so much, but the times are coming and I can NOT WAIT. The sunset was amazing and perfect, and the day was filled with so many people just having a bunch of fun.
