The Pride Center of the Capital District hosted another successful Gala event this Friday and it was as classy as expected. If you don't know what the Pride Center is about, They are an organization dedicated to serving the LGBT community here in the capital district as the oldest continuously operating community center in the country. The Gala every year helps raise money for various Programs that they run throughout the Region. Check out their website! I do have to say one thing, is that I could never talk as fast as that auctioneer!

They had great food, great friends, and great speakers there that night, we even had the last survivor of the Stonewall Movement there! He is living history who continues to serve the community and LGBT as a whole. It was a night filled with inspiring people who keeps on giving to the community, who have push passed all the struggles and want better for our community and individuals within the community.
