Families are always fun, mixed in with a bunch of yelling to stay on the side of the road, to not picking up your brother, to making sure they don't run to far, you name it. If you're reading this, you probably already know what its like to have 2 children who are energetic, excited, and LOVE the park. This is for you. So Dear Moms, Dads, Parents: If you ever felt like you didn't know how to parent and maybe you are doing some thing wrong and have a TON of doubt. You're probably parenting just fine. I had a ton of fun with The Macfawn Family, we ran wild, we jumped around, we played in the leaves, and we played on the playground. I was tired at the end of the day, but my heart was full! I was told that these two were more active today then ever, I've told them that the session involves bringing out the boys authentic selves, but I blame the warm weather and the beautiful fall colors :-)

We started the session easy going, and then we REALLY decided to get a bit dramatic because why not when you're expecting to have a child? Stephanie and Kevin are a few of the smart people I know, they also know how to ballroom dance, and it is probably without a doubt, that this little one will learn to dance as well as their parents. We can't wait to meet you!

He's here! He's finally here and he's just as adorable as you'd imagine! Just look at his deep blue eyes! I can only say so much because, this baby is cute, with so many different faces. Dad loves to make the faces back at him too. Journey to baby is a success!

Family Sessions are the best, they may not be the most clean, the most calm, or the most glamorous, but they are the most real. Kids are at their purest forms genuine, so when they are happy, sad, giggly, excited, inspired, inquisitive, it is coming without bias, because they don't know how to just smile for the camera. I think that's the most important part of developing their personalities. What comes from this truth, is the influence they have on their parents, of which they also can not help but smile.

The Huntley's are back! I got to travel to Millbury MA to visit the Huntley Family again after a year and guess what... They got a new addition to their family! Lily is still so tiny and learning to navigate through her growth, and Benjamin is even more excited and energetic as ever! Its like he knows its time to play when I get there! Not all families are made the same. Yes two year olds can throw tantrums, yes, babies will need to be changed and fed, and yes sometimes you just don't know what to do. What makes these guys special - and maybe they were being easy just because I was around - is their ability to go with the flow, as gracie wanted to do one thing, and then want to do another thing (as all 2 year olds who know what they want to do and can vocalize it), they moved seemlessly between activities.

We did cute little in home/backyard session with this little guy who is turning 1 today AND we even did a cake smash. Let me just say that this kid, is one of the neatest kids i've seen do a cake smash, but damn was he entranced with amount of sugar he got to eat. OM NOM NOM.

When this beautiful mama asked me to do her Baby shower, I jumped at the opportunity to capture one of the most exciting times in an expecting mother's time. Baby showers are filled with family and friends who are coming together to wish you the best of luck in the up coming months and to health and happiness to the new life that is coming into this world. This week is CCHD Awareness Week, Feb 7 - February 14. Critical congenital heart disease (CCHD) represents a group of heart defects that cause serious, life-threatening symptoms and requires intervention within the first days or first year of life. Check out the stories of these kids who were taken great care of by associations like the March of Dimes.

I wanted to take this time to blog about being confident in your work. So obviously this is a blog to Photographers and other Artistic Entrepreneurs out there working hard at mastering their craft during the cold winter months. I personally do not shoot Maternities, Budoirs, or Newborns, mainly because these are hyper sensitive and hyper qualified Photography Niche's. 

These kids are carefree and super fun and energetic. They were more than willing to do fun photos in the fog, even though it got a little wet, we create some beautiful portraits of these fierce, independent girls. *Z Snap*

This family is full of personality, and sometimes personalities clash, but so does the amount of laughter that goes into such a dynamic family. They are close and they are each independent, like a cog in a well oiled machine. They can come together when they are needed, and sometimes you can't help but to laugh it all off. You can tell that in a pinch, they would do anything for each other!

All the kids were home this weekend, its not everyday that the kids are all home together. When kids grow up its hard to get everyone together. This tough and hardworking single mom does everything she can to make sure her babies are doing okay and it looks like they are doing great. Check out this fun In-Home Lifestyle Shoot!

We had to secretly plan for this little boy's 6 month shoot as a Christmas gift to the mom who's a super hard working and family loving person. I mean, how can you not with a face like this?! He was super chill and didn't care what we were doing as long as you gave him some food, made him laugh, and had time to nap. Tip, nap before a shoot is key to a successful baby shoot.

Like most children, at first she was unsure about photos, she was shy and she was a bit nervous about being in front of the camera. Give it time, and boy did she just go out there and have fun!

Jackson is Finally 1 Years old! First let me show you our first encounter with Jackson, THEN let me show you the cuteness that is Brotherly Love and baby personalities. I couldn't handle how cute, energetic, full of personality he was! He just wanted to keep running around and doing all the things. Logan was such a good big brother. OK enough explaining more showing. And GO!

When they said that they were ready for some photos I was more than ready to take them out on a play date. We jumped, sung, laughed and hung around a great weathered day. We created some good memories for the day and I get to share some of these with ya'll. Enjoy!

So let me just say that his kid has the brightest baby blues I've ever seen! Coming in at only 4 months and a couple of pounds, this kid has already started to show personality. He doesn't like tummy time too much apparently, and even trying it out today, he now has more blackmail photos than I've ever had for myself. I might be laughing way to hard so tell me what you guys think!
